  • Frankenstein gets 4 stars in Threeweeks and One4Review.  See Theatre for review exerpts
  • Frankenstein at the Edinburgh Fringe - August 14th-19th.
  • First draft of the play in progress, that Emma has been commissioned to write by The Company of Mary on the life of Jeanne de Lestonacc for tour around Spain, France and the US.
  • Filming for M&S training film.

July 2006

  • Performance of Two Gentlemen of Verona in Farnham Castle July 12th - 15th.  All performances SOLD OUT.
  • Rehearsals commence for Frankenstein in preparation for performance at Edinburgh Fringe Festival August 13th -19th.
  • Performance of Frankenstein at Frensham Heights Performing Arts Centre July 28th and 29th.
  • Screening of Screaming Blue Murder in London.
  • Emma attends 6 day Commedia Dell'Arte workshop in London, led by renowned Italian commedia teacher Pietro Mossa and movement teacher Antonella Delli Gatti.

  • Rehearsals continue for Two Gentlemen of Verona.   Performances from July 12th to 15th in Farnham Castle.  Tickets are now on sale, box office is 01483 418477.
  • Short Film - Mind Over Matter, being produced by Bournmouth Media College, as part of post graduate project.

April 2006

  • Emma commences directing 'The Willow Pattern' for the Woking Drama Festival 2006.
  • Filming for Sugar Rush in Brighton.
  • Filming for O2 training film.
  • Voice over work for pilot for BBC 6 Music.
  • Editorial for Bella magazine.
  • Rehearsals commence for Two Gentlemen of Verona.  Emma is playing the part of Julia in this years summer festival.

March 2006

  • Emma is commissioned by The Company of Mary to write a play on the life of Jeanne de Lestonacc for tour around Spain, France and the US.
  • The short play, All In The Mind, (Working Title - Just Jude) is completed.

January 2006

  • Emma will be running two summer schools in July and August for 7-14 year olds. Watch the website for more information.
  • Emma commences advanced playwriting course with Jane Bodie.

August 2005

  • Writers group set up with the aim of reading extracts from New Writing once a month at the Soho Theatre, Dean Street.  August 23rd first meeting - next meeting September 23rd.
  • The second draft of the play 'Sweet Dreams' (Working title) completed.

June 2005

  • 18th June - 'The Musicians' wins multiple awards at the Guildford Drama Festival:

Emma-Louise Tinniswood nominated for Best Director and Originality Award

  • 17th June - 'The Musicians' invited back to perform once again for the Gala Night on Saturday June 18th.
  • 15th June - 'The Musicians' , a youth theatre company production directed by Emma perform on Friday June 17th at the Electric Theatre, Guildford as part of the - Guildford Drama Festival.
  • 6th June - Performance of The Hollow Crown, directed by Sherna Treherne at the Barn Theatre, Molesey.

  • Emma has been accepted onto the Young Vic Genesis Directors Project.
  • Emma starts a Playwrighting Course at the Royal Court Theatre under the direction of playwright Jane Bodie.
  • Completed a one day workshop at Shared Experience Theatre Company on Physical Theatre under tuition of Polly Teale.
  • Rehearsals start for 'The Musicians' by Patrick Marber, which Emma is directing as part of a Youth Theatre Project for the Guildford Drama Festival.
  • First draft of new play, Just Jude completed.
  • Initial meeting for a new Musical for young people being written with playwright Andy Taylor.  Due for completion in 2006.
  • First round of auditions for UK Premiere of new musical Henry which Emma is Co-director for.
  • Benjamin Lake (Jerry Springer) has been cast as the part of Henry VIII in Henry.
  • Rehearsals start for The Hollow Crown, directed by Sherna Treherne with Emma as musical director.
